- Leaking connection despite correct product
- Pipe can be pulled out of clamp connector
- Cracking noises in the line
- Dripping threaded connection
- Vibration and noise during water extraction
- Pipe not deburred (seal damaged)
- Wrong pipe diameter selected
- Torque too high or too low
- Support sleeve forgotten (for plastic pipe)
- Hemp/Teflon applied incorrectly
- Pipe not cut at right angle
- Dirt on sealing surface
- 1Loosen connection and check seal
- 2Measure pipe diameter (caliper)
- 3Check pipe end for burrs and damage
- 4Correct support sleeve present?
- 5Check thread for damage and sealant
- 6Check insertion depth
- Deburr and clean pipe end properly
- Confirm correct pipe size with caliper
- Replace seal if damaged
- Insert support sleeve for plastic pipes
- Clean threaded connection and reseal
- Apply torque according to GEBO installation instructions

- Always read installation instructions
- Deburr pipe before installation
- Use correct support sleeve (plastic + multilayer composite)
- Union nut hand-tight + ¼ to ½ turn with tool
- Do not grease seal (unless GEBO recommends it)
