Asbestos cement (Eternit)

TRGS 519

Asbestos cement pipes were widely used in water and wastewater supply from the 1930s to the 1990s. They contain hazardous asbestos fibers. Removal must be carried out by a specialist company according to TRGS 519. DO NOT cut, drill, or grind!

  • Typical diameters DN 80–DN 400
