Wastewater
Wastewater pipes generally operate without pressure (gravity flow). Chemical resistance is important, as is the distinction between domestic and industrial wastewater.
- Observe minimum gradient (1–2 % for DN 100)
- Chemical resistance for industrial wastewater
- Temperature resistance for hot water discharge
- Ventilation and venting of the pipe network
- Leak test according to DIN EN 1610
- Protective equipment when working on wastewater pipes
- Gases in wastewater pipes can be toxic
- Regular cleaning to prevent blockages
