Gas (Natural Gas / LPG)
Gas installations require DVGW-certified components and execution by a specialist company (TRGI). Only metallic pipes and fittings with gas approval are permitted. A gas tightness test is mandatory.
- DVGW approval for all components mandatory
- Only metallic materials in buildings
- HTB seal (gas-specific) for compression fittings
- Gas tightness test according to TRGI
- Specialist company (concession according to §13 EU-InstV) required
- In case of gas smell, immediately open windows and leave building
- No open flame or electrical switches
- Call supplier's emergency service (24h)
- Know gas shut-off valve and keep accessible
