Drinking Water

Cold water ≤25 °C, hot water ≤60 °C (briefly 70 °C)

Drinking water installations must comply with the requirements of the TrinkwV (Drinking Water Ordinance) and the UBA evaluation guidelines. Only materials with DVGW or KTW certification are permitted. Temperature range: cold water up to 25 °C, hot water up to 60 °C.

Heating Water

Flow up to 90 °C (low temperature) / up to 110 °C (high temperature)

Heating water circulates in closed systems. The focus is on oxygen control, corrosion protection and compliance with VDI 2035. Temperatures up to 110 °C are possible.

Gas (Natural Gas / LPG)

-20 °C to +60 °C (natural gas)

Gas installations require DVGW-certified components and execution by a specialist company (TRGI). Only metallic pipes and fittings with gas approval are permitted. A gas tightness test is mandatory.

Compressed Air

Ambient temperature up to +40 °C after cooling

Compressed air lines require special attention to condensate management, oil-free applications and correct pressure levels. Temperature depends on compressor performance and cooling.

Wastewater

Up to 60 °C (briefly 95 °C for PP)

Wastewater pipes generally operate without pressure (gravity flow). Chemical resistance is important, as is the distinction between domestic and industrial wastewater.

Industrial Media (Chemicals, Steam, Cooling Water)

Medium-dependent (-40 °C to +400 °C)

Industrial media include chemicals, steam, cooling water and process water. Material selection depends on the medium and must be checked using resistance tables.
